Pillowy lips

Pillowy lips
It's no wonder plump lips are a turn-on - they look fresh from a snogathon. A rosy tint and subtle gloss are irresistible for exactly thè same reason, but if you want to be kissed, trowelling on lipstick is a bad idea. "No man relishes thè idea of having to kiss his way through layers of wax," says Caroline. "Stick to balms or weightless creamy glosses." Dab on Philosophy Kiss Me Red Lip Balm, £9 (3), Urban Decay Lip Envy Lip Stain in Greedy, £10, or Agent Provocateur Titillation Lip Balm (part of a set with Nipple Refresher Creami), £20 (1). Or turn your favourite 'bitten lip' colour into a stain. Tap it onto your lips, blot and top with balm. For thè illusion of plumpness, "Trace thè edge of your lip with thè side of a flesh-coloured lip pencil (like Max Factor Lipliner in Blush, £5) to create a soft shape, and buff thè colour inwards," advises Caroline. "Then use a little gold highlighter in thè centre of thè lower lip." Or try Nars Lip Gloss in Orgasm, £17 (2), agold-shot peach-pink to make lips look lush.
Bedroom eyes
Eyes are thè one area where men like to see a bit of makeup. "Dusky eyes suggest you're a bit naughty," says Caroline. "Create them in three steps, so they look slept-in. Line your lashes and inner rims with a black pencil - blinking will cause thè right amount of smudginess. Top with black or slate eyeshadow along thè lashlines, then smudge with your finger and add black mascara." If black seems a bit much, go for deep forest green, midnight blue or chocolate brown. And always team full-on eyes with understated makeup elsewhere.
